Maybe you’ve heard about it. Maybe you’ve even been part of a broadcast. We’re here to provide the breakdown on Facebook Live. So…
What is it?
“Facebook Live lets people, public figures and Pages share live video with their followers and friends on Facebook.”*
It is a live streaming option, now available on Facebook, where you can broadcast to your followers anytime you want. The potential to use this for different situations is huge!
“Live is the best way to interact with viewers in real time. Field their burning questions, hear what’s on their mind and check out their Live Reactions to gauge how your broadcast is going.”
This is another cool feature- the Live Reactions. Facebook Live lets you track how your network engages with your broadcast as it progresses. You can see at what points in the filming different likes or comments were posted. Giving you some insight into what your network responds to.
Video is quickly on the rise for marketing and communication methods. Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook all now support video posts and I don’t think it will be long before other platforms follow suit in offering a streaming option.
“People love watching video, which is why we’ve built a dedicated place to watch this engaging content on Facebook. While your current fans will be able to keep up here and in News Feed, the experience will help new followers discover you too.”
