Creating an event on Facebook and inviting your connections is one great way to raise awareness throughout your network of the event and your company. From there, we recommend also utilizing a hashtag for your event. This can be used on channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. A personalized hashtag for your event will help increase awareness, will work to create a cohesion throughout the social channels around your event, and create one location for a conversation for your network to engage on. Lastly, we recommend using channels such as Pinterest for ideas for the event itself and Instagram for sharing images (and utilizing that hashtag) to show off your company branding and how the event looks and feels.
